Established in 1998, Downing Family Vineyards produces small lots of ultra-premium Napa Valley Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Ron Melville founded Melville Vineyards in 1996, and with help from cult Winemaker Greg Brewer of Brewer-Clifton, they began producing high scoring Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays, Syrahs, and Viogniers from the Santa Rita Hills and Santa Barbara County.
Assistant Winemaker, P.J. Ochlan, will be pouring new releases of Reserve and Estate Cabernets from their vineyard in Atlas Peak Napa Valley, Chardonnay from Cobblestone Vineyard in Arroyo Seco Monterey County, and the first release of Pinot Noir from their new estate vineyard in New Zealand. P.J. has also dug up some library wines to really intrigue your palate.
