Dear Wine Lover, We met Justin Hunnicutt Stephens though his father’s winery; D.R.
Stephens where he is now the general manager. D.R. Stephens Cabernet
Sauvignon has successfully received 95 points from Wine Spectator on its last
two vintages, so when Justin offered us some of his own wines we figured we
couldn’t go wrong. After tasting Justin’s first vintage our expectations were
surpassed. He has hired his childhood friend Kirk Venge
(son of Nils Venge owner of Saddleback Cellars &
Venge Family Wines) to make his wines. When you try
Justin’s wine we know you will think it’s fabulous too. 2002 Rich aromas of blackberry,
blueberry, cherry cola and black licorice. Bright, black fruit flavors
supported by a toasty backbone. Dark chocolate and cedary
