1500-foot elevation and expresses its personality in remarkable concentration
and complexity. The finest Burgundian French oak
barrels are selected for aging and elevating the Pinot Noir over the course of
approximately 18 months. Exuberant aromas and flavors of ripe berries and
peppermint explode from a deliciously delicate yet expansive viscosity on the
palate. A most versatile and food
friendly varietal, School House Pinot Noir is a
perfect complement to the richest meats and poultry and duck and marries
beautifully with reduction sauces. 199 cases were produced.

The
venerable field-blend of red varieties, the personality of Mescolanza
is bred largely from the Carignane, Zinfandel and
Petite Sirah varieties. Wildly spicy in its aroma, a
pleasantly rich mouthful of wine bursts with ripe cherry and berry flavors. The
use of older seasoned barrels provides an ever so subtle kiss of oak and the
natural grape acidity provides vibrancy to the bouquet and length to the
mouth-watering finish. 119 cases were produced.
