Vergari Wines was founded in 2003 by owner/winemaker David Vergari, who strives to produce Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards that are exclusively suited to those varietals. David ages his wines solely in French oak barrels and shepards them from vine to bottle so each wine will display its own distinctive and unique character.

2004 Vergari DuNah Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir $38.99
This is a wine of depth and structure. A deep maroon color with jewel-like ruby glints foretells of the character of the wine. Classic cherry notes on the nose are mirrored as the wine glides across the palate with a silky texture. Layers of flavors continue to evolve in the glass, and the DuNah Vineyard Pinot Noir reflects its special Russian River Valley character with a long and lingering finish. Production: 206 cases
2005 Vergari Sangiacomo Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir $41.89
A beautiful dark ruby color suggests the complexity and depth of the 2005 Sangiocomo Vineyard Pinot Noir. Spicy aromas mingle with red raspberry, black cherry and an intriguing hint of game. Fruit driven, the first sip then leads to a silky texture and balanced mid-palate, and then lingers and lingers on the finish. Pull out your Pinot Noir/Burgundy crystal far wine, as it continues to evolve in the glass. Production: 162 cases
2005 Vergari Van der Kamp Vineyard Sonoma Mountain Pinot Noir $44.89
A ruby color with a bouquet of spice, earth, gamey notes, and red sherry aromas. A fruit-driven entry opens into a silky-textured, balanced mid-palate and an extraordinarily long finish. Very tightly wound at a first pour, the 2005 Van der Kamp Vineyard Pinot Noir will evolve in the glass. Give it a good swirl! This Sonoma Mountain fruit bodes well for long aging. 2004 Vergari Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon $47.99
Aromas of blueberry pie and spices with hints of barrel toast and earth lead to rich, mouth-filling flavors of blueberries, vanillin and cassis. The soft tannins are augmented by balanced acidity and complemented by the lengthy finish. Production: 81 cases
