Winemaker's notes: Sourced from Labryrinth Vineyard in Russian River Valley, J. Keverson's 2006 Pinot Noir presents a clear, light body; medium-red to slight-brick in color. The wine leads off with soft red fruit, black cherry, cola, cinnamon, slight green aromas. Soft mouthfeel, clean with medium acidity, full of cherry and cola flavors. Beautiful texture on the tongue and mouth on the finish. This wine was aged for 9 months in 40% new French oak then bottled aged for 7 months. This wine drinks extremely well now, however it will continue to evolve in the bottle over the next 6-12 months. Cellar through 2012. Production: 210 cases
