A passion for Pinot Noir and the desire to fund their three sons’ college educations led Ross and Jennifer Halleck to Sonoma County in 1991 with the focus of planting a Pinot Noir vineyard in the Sonoma Coast region. Now along with their own Halleck Estate Vineyard they are also producing small lots of Pinots with grapes sourced from other small vineyards in the Russian River Valley.

This wine is comprised of The Farm Vineyard, Hallberg Vineyard, and Hawk's Roost Vineyard and shows cassis and black cherry notes, with deep ruby purple color. It is full, ripe and silky in the mouth, and shows complex aromas of spice, and very subtle oak with a bit of forest floor. This wine also shows great structure and balance with a beautiful long finish. Production: 749 cases
2005 Halleck The Farm Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir $53.99
With full flavor saturation across all quadrants, this Pinot shows rich ruby colors with great translucency and dark fruit, including bing cherry and raspberry. With hints of dark cherry, wafting spices, and cinnamon, and a slight hint of pepper, this wine shows classic fruit-forward overtones and a long finish that satisfies and lingers.
