Our 2005 Sonoma Chardonnay from Dutton and Ritchie vineyard is crisp and delicious, crafted from gnarled old Russian River vines in sandy loam soils. The wine has a distinctly toasty and tropical nose this year with aromas of custard and meringue. Framed in spicy oak and loaded with ripe citrus and apricot fruit flavors, the wine is balanced, rich, and refreshing, with trademark Meyer lemon zest on the finish.
