Dear Wine Lover,

Wade's picks for Hanukkah!

2005 Covenant Napa Valley Kosher Cabernet Sauvignon
Was $85 Sale $74.99
91 points Robert Parker: There are 500 cases of the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, the source of which is the superb Larkmead Vineyard on the valley floor in Napa. Aged in a combination of French cooperage, with 50% of it Taransaud, this is a top-flight Cabernet Sauvignon, exhibiting a deep ruby/purple color and a classic nose of smoke, espresso, black currant, cedar, and spice. Medium to full-bodied with silky, beautifully sweet tannins in the finish, it is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and should evolve for at least 10-15 years.
.
2006 Covenant Red Sea Napa Valley Kosher Cabernet Sauvignon
Was $42 Sale $37.99
90 points Robert Parker:
The 2006 Red Sea is the second wine of Covenant, and includes a press wine. This is soft, round, deliciously fruity Cabernet that is meant to be drunk in its first 7-8 years of life. The name, of course, is a play on words ... just think it over.
.
2003 Kiddush Hashem Cellars Great Oaks Ranch Kosher Syrah
Was $32 Sale $24.99
This impressively made Kosher Syrah is noteworthy for its purity, outstanding ripeness, well put together texture, and rich, supple finish. It offers copious quantities of blackberry and currant fruit intermixed with notions of pepper, licorice, and earth.
Production: 395 cases
