The 2003 Treva’s boasts dense purple color, and the potential to be even bigger and richer than its 2002 counterpart (a difficult achievement in these two vintages), it reveals a certain elegance and earthiness along with a big, sweet, creme de cassis, smoky personality that brings to mind a hybrid blend of Pauillac and Graves. The complex aromatics are followed by an impressively endowed effort possessing admirable purity, length, and a distinctive terroir character.
