Three friends Anthony, David, and Webster while working at William Selyem Winery all had the same dream to produce their own offering of wines that were a product and reflection of the vineyards they loved. Not only are they intimately involved with the everyday winemaking process, they also make time to work hand and hand with the growers.

2004 Anthill Farms Demuth Vineyard Anderson Valley Sonoma Pinot Noir, 123 cases produced $39.99
The hallmarks of the Demuth's family vineyard is elegance and purity: this site's low nighttime temperatures preserve a backbone of acidity which gives the wine balance and finesse. The wine shows intense floral and red cherry aromas, complicated by hints of damp earth, cocoa and vanilla. The wine shows well now with decanting and will continue to develop over the next four or five years as the wine opens and gains complexity.
2004 Anthill Farms Peters Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, 52 cases produced $39.99
Randy Peters and his father-in-law, Tom Mukaida, farm this vineyard outside of Sebastopol in western Sonoma County. The southern slopes of these hills form the northern edge of the Petaluma Gap, which rushes cool, marine air from the Pacific Ocean inland. The vineyard itself lies on a steep, east-facing slope composed of dusty yellow Goldridge soil. The vines, planted fifteen years ago, produce grapes that ripen unusually slowly due to the vineyard’s often-present fog.
The Peters is presently a bit more sensual than our Anderson Valley wines — the wine presents a lovely sweetness as well as pure black cherry and plum fruit. The wine is lush and intense in the mouth, with subtle hints of mushroom and forest floor that emerge with aeration. While this wine will continue to improve over the next three to four years, the Peters shows very well upon release.
