2005 Loring Wine Co. Clos Pepe Vineyard Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Pinot Report 96 Points! Medium ruby purple color; spicy, earthy, savory aromas with some black cherry notes; rich black cherry flavors of the palate with savory spice and sweet oak notes; silky and smooth; good structure and balance; long finish. Complex, ripe, spicy flavors pair with sweet oak to make a truly delicious Pinot. This is a great example of the Clos Pepe Vineyard - a Pinot that drinks well now with a good several years of aging potential ahead of it.
