2006 Drew Cargasacchi Jalama Vyd Potbelly Block Santa Barbara Pinot Noir $34.89
This is a very well proportioned wine. The color is a nice dark cherry red reaching to garnet hues. The nose has a spicy, clean black cherry quality with wonderful tight grain oak in the background. Comparing to 2005 Vintage, the wine excels in both depth and richness. This wine is seductive and elegant in taste with fresh blackberry, pomegranates and cherry pie with charm to boot. Production: 286 cases
2006 Drew Gateskeeper Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir $39.89
This is a blend from two vineyards located on opposite ends of Santa Rita Hills Appellation (Rio Vista Vineyard at the East end and Ashley’s Vineyard on the West end). The wine reveals aromas of bing cherries, boysenberry, blackberry tea with hints of watermelon and floral spice notes with a wonderful integration of oak. Production: 429 cases
