This wine is a deep ruby color with hints of black cherry, plum, and currant fruit. These riper berry layers are intermingled with a touch of violet and spicy, toasted oak flavors. It is a soft and round wine with a well-crafted, silky frame which is revealed in the long finish. The elegant finish melts away the soft tannins and the rich palate carries the wine way past swallowing.
