Dear Wine Lover,

We just discovered that Joshua Peeple (partners with Drew Neiman and Pam Starr in the new Bridesmaid Wines) is continuing in the tradition of family winemaking for Chateau Boswell. After twenty six years Chateau Boswell is still sold to only a few select retailers and restaurants with more than ninety percent of their wine going directly to customers on their mailing list. We are proud to introduce these small production wines to you.

2003 Chateau Boswell Estate Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon $93.99
Chateau Boswell Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from fruit grown organically in our two small vineyards, both with a unique soil composition of volcanic ash, red clay, and obsidian. The steep hillside vineyard is planted with French and local proprietary clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Merlot. The Heritage valley floor vineyard is planted with one of the earliest French Cabernet Sauvignon proprietary clones brought to
America. It is the marriage of the fruit of these two vineyards that creates a consistently supple wine with intense dark fruit and complex sensory components. 268 cases produced

2004 Chateau Boswell Sonoma Coast Chardonnay $57.99
The Chateau Boswell Chardonnay is one of our most sought after varietals; lush in texture, a well balanced wine with minerality, tropical fruit, and hazelnut components. The fruit is sourced from premium Sonoma Coast vineyards and the production is a traditional Burgundian style process whereby the fruit is hand sorted and whole cluster pressed, and a native yeast fermentation process takes place in 100% new French Oak barrels. The wine is kept one year on the lees, stirred every week, and at one year it is, racked and then returned to the barrel to age until bottling.  330 cases produced

2003 Chateau Boswell Jacquelynn Napa Valley Cuvče $63.99

This limited release is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and14% Cabernet Franc sourced from premium Napa Valley hillside vineyards. The Cuvče is dark and intense with aromas of blueberry and cocoa that lead to a solid core of rich black currant. On the palate this wine exhibits tremendous density and concentration, yet retains exquisite balance with well integrated tannins and a smooth lingering finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon based blend marks the first release from Joshua & Jacquelynn Peeples continuing the tradition of family winemaking for Chateau Boswell Winery. 408 cases produced

2003 Chateau Boswell Jacquelynn Napa Valley Syrah $55.99
A New World Syrah in terms of weight, opulence and fruit concentration, this wine also achieves a classic structure and an ultra- rich finish. The main thrust of this wine is of ripe blue fruits and wild blueberry while still displaying the more typical Syrah characteristics of flint, meatiness, and toast. This limited release was sourced from vineyards just north of Chateau Boswell off of the Silverado Trail in Calistoga. The entire vineyard is farmed organically, with nearly half of the block young vines with stellar potential, utilizing grafts from some of the
Napa Valley's first Syrah clones. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, and neither filtered nor fined. 145 cases produced
