2005 Charter Oak Monte Rosso Vineyard Sonoma Zinfandel
From vineyards planted during Grover Cleveland’s first term in the 1880s, this wine offers luscious blackberry and wild raspberry with loads of exotic spices and indigenous bramble, and is elegant in style with a smooth blueberry satin finish. Yields were approximately 1.5 ton per acre. Aged exclusively in French oak burgundy barrels. Production: 299 cases
2005 Charter Oak Vineyard Napa Valley Zinfandel-Petite Sirah
This is a big, thick, juicy, jammy blackberry-scented Napa Zin, including fruit from Charter Oak vineyard, with layers of lush fruit and well-integrated toasty French oak. Blended with old vine Petite Syrah from an historic St. Helena vineyard for added muscle and Zinfandel from the famed Monte Rosso Vineyard for added pleasure. This is black balanced ooze in a glass with a silky and satin finish. Aged exclusively in French oak burgundy barrels. Production: 299 cases
